Back from Ipoh : Back from Tangkal Besi

Back from the Tangkal Besi shoot in Ipoh... 1st thing 1st..... Yeah! NO MORE WIG.... gosh... such a torture with wigs.. hahaha... well, Director says my hair don't look too 70's so im required to wear a wig... but the wig they provide me was in such a bad quality that at the end of the 1 mth shoot... there weren't much strain left... it kept falling each time i use it... lol...

anyhow, this trip down to Ipoh proves very educative and entertaining. And so, I place Ipoh as one of my move spot. Of course, if i can't find a job with the right pay, Brunei is still my destination. But I would wanna move down to Ipoh cause living expenses is really low there and furthermore, its closer to my career opportunity.

And so the 1st film "Chaotic Baboons Films" took place over the weekend at Damansara Jaya with her 1st short film, "SCARS" Although we didn't managed to finish the whole shoot, we did managed to finish off more than half of the scenes. But now we face another problem, some of the actors will be flying off somewhere for a long period and furthermore, i've to arrange to suite everyone time and schedule since all of them have full-time 9-5 job except me... hahaha... but, im looking to see if there is enough footage to make a teaser :)

I'm writing on my second project for CBF which is a sitcom. A project I plan to work on once I move down to Ipoh and rent the whole house so i can use all the space I want.

Astro Ceria's Tangkal Besi - Death of Penang Kia

In my most recent shoots, i play a 60's Malaysian notorious gangster in Director Saw Tiong Hin's latest local drama, Tangkal Besi. It's a real story (well, with altered names of course) the story is about the journey of Ah Huat, the leader of the pack which his trusted blood brothers, Ah Meng, Ah Kaw and Penang Kia.

The Drama will be aired on Astro Ceria in January 2010... so stay tune for more action... my character of course, have lots of fight scenes as im the brutal fighter of the four.

Stunts for MediaCorp Malaysia

Initially didn't expect to perform any stunts for the 2 days shoot but after I saw the 2 professional HK Stunt Masters, I have a feeling things are likely as I expected it. I had to flip, fall, and even get whack with a Rattan Stick... hahaha... anyways, seems common for me to do stunts now after a couple of experiences with such shoots. Hopefully I won't just be categorized as just a stuntman and rather an Actor :)

Ramly At War Begins Premier @ KLPac

17 Sep 2009 marks a memorable milestone for the cast and crew of Ramly at War Begins who had work hard with sleepless nights (Especially the Director), cracking their heads (DOP with 1st experience on Guerrilla production with no budget) and squeezing every ounce of brain juice (Action and stunt choreographers in coming up with superb action sequences) and endless sacrifice and dedication to the success of the film from every1 involved.

The heavy rain and the crazy traffic congestion that day didn't affect the outcome of the premier as we saw a healthy numbers of crowd which ended up with a 2nd screening on that night.

We screened a horror film directed by Joe Choong (Who is studying in UK now) and acted by Charlene Meng as the victim and Rainie Lee as the ghost. The outcome was really good till Rainie who played the ghost was shocked by her own appearance on screen... hehehe....

Then came the main event which every1 was anxiously waiting for, "The World Premier of Ramly at War Begins by Jblockbuster and Low Angle Production" All I can say is, I'm so proud to be a part of the production. Every1 in the hall enjoyed the film and was anticipating for more. We got a lot of great reviews from every1 and I know, Ramly At War Full Feature is coming soon :)

Jblockbuster is selling the DVD at RM10 each and if you don't own it, you have not seen a blockbuster in the making... you have to watch it.. no point of me telling you how great it is... you have to experience it... be mesmerized... :)

After only a week of changing my program to the Mass Attack, I've gain a very visible Quality Lean Mass around my arms and chest with a very chisel Abs packed with veins... of course, non of this would work without proper dieting...

Im still experimenting on my latest program and if it works, i need to know if its hazardous to health... but overall, not too bad cause its only less than a week.

Well, if you are buffed or ripped.. yet, you are as fair as a maiden... non of your hard earned muscles will be showing.. that's why i took matters into my own hand and went all the way to 3K for a sun bathing session. but things didn't turn out the way it is as well, the 3K community weren't at all friendly, the swimming pool is covered with a roof, and even the valet attendant were giving me a hard time. oh well, I took off and back to Kelana Jaya's swimming pool located next to the stadium.

Paid RM4 for entry, checked the locker filled with cobwebs and decides not to use em. tried to look a convertible chair for me to relax on but seems like there is no such service here. so I laid on the tiles waiting for the sun to surface behind the clouds.. I put on Tanning oil on my chest, back and legs but sun block on both my arms cause they are already tanned. lol. I had 1 hr front BBQ and another 1hr for my back. and the result was satisfying. I'm well colored in healthy tan :P going for another BBQ session soon cause i just love the relaxation session :)

is finally done and has been posted up on youtube 2 days ago. Brilliant job from the crew who has been working night and day just to complete the film in quality. I must say, A job well done by Juliane Block (Germany) the director, script writer and editor as well as Deckster Kaitaua (Indonesia) the Director of Photography and editor together with Hong (Low angle Productions) who did the editing for the action footage..

and now, here is something to tease you on. I play Ah Quen, the main lead in this Bloody, action packed and ultra violent film filled with big bikes, hot chics and awesome martial artist... a must watch and remember.... the full film is going to blow u out of ur chair.... Be PrepareD

My 1st main lead role was with the UCSI students who got me to play a psycho for their final film assignment. During the same time, i was playing as an extra for another group of UCSI students on the same project :P hahaha... well, it was fun to play both the hunter and the victim. furthermore, my main lead role requires me to play 3 characters because he has tri-personalities. well, all in all, i was playing 4 characters in one shot :P hahaha... talk bout challenge as a 1st time main lead actor.... well, i watched it twice and i think, i still need room for improvements and im going to study on my weaknesses and try to improve myself.

Its a 5 days shoot with 3 days drama and emotional scene shoots and 2 days extreme intensity fight scenes in the weekend.

Iv never had so much fun in a shoot.. thanks Juliane, Danny, Deckster, Juria, Milah, Joe, Hong, Terry, Garry, Choon, Adrian, Michael, King, Marcus, John, Rainie, Lily... emmm... did i miss out any1?

I've heard from people who has watched the drafts and im so so so tempted to watch it now.... Juliane..... im dying of excitement now .... hahahaha.....

All the hardwork paid through and definitely every1's hardwork paid off. The last 2 days was really intense with all the fight scenes following through one after another. and all the bikes were awesome with fabulous crowds and every1 is very dedicated to what they do :)

Thanks Every1 who are involve in Ramly At War for making it the greatest experience for evey1 on the set.. eventhough i've couple of small accidents during the fight scenes but its fun and the pain just push me further and further... I hope every1 who was there will see filming as something sincere and pure. I hope the film will b an inspiration to every1 in the industry.
