Ramly at War - The Test Shoot -

The Director has been hard at work getting everything prepared for the shoot, The Producers are working hard to get everything in order, Script Writers are finalizing the final draft, all the cast are well prepared and all that is left is the Test Shoot before the actual Shooting.......... So today's the day.... My 1st test shoot... actually it was yesterday but I didn't took much pictures on that one... but anyways, today I got Juliane to take the pictures and it was fabulous.. Thanks Juliane, ur photo skills are fantastic. love the pictures. (Juliane is the Director :P)

Juliane Block has directed tons of films including "Emperor, The Kowloon Story, Bad Timing and etc...) i came to know of her during Michael Wiese's Master Class at FINAS not too long ago. She totally inspired me when I was talking to her and I can sense that she is really dedicated in her work. That was why when i was offered to act in "Bad Timing" I didn't have to think twice to accept the role. I know I can learn a lot of things from her.

The training took place at Kiara Hills, TTDI. we started at 11am all the way till 1:30pm... but gosh, the SUN was a murder... hahahaha... it penetrated through even when i had my sunblock. I am as red as a lobster now.. but with Palmer's Lotion.. I guess the pain is lessen. anyways, the choreography was set and finalized with story boards in order. (That's the way it should be done) all we have to do was to get into the mood and react to the feel. I was partially injured with accidental kicks and punches thrown at me but it was good as I needed the wake up call for my body. I've not taken beatings for a long time now and I've seem to almost forgotten how it feels. hahaha... well, there were times when the flying kicks coming my way went wrong and almost hit my groin.. but the worst was the part where I got kick hard on the side of my hip right at the pelvic bone and there was another one on my side rib cage just under the chest. there was another injury to Garry yesterday who fell right into my pelvic bone and had nose bleeding. so we were like joking about it right after he accidentally kicked my hip "Revenge of the Pelvic Bone"

The Choreography is superb. Something which I need to work with as Im more of a grounded fighter with lots of takedowns. The Low Angle crew are really helpful in guiding me to get into proper posture while throwing punches and kicks.. we had lots of trainings on reactions, especially on how to take punches on different parts of the body. The Low Angle group are really dedicated at what they do and I find them to be very professionalized in doing what they do especially when the 1st time they showed me the story board. Something which proves that they are well organized and prepared for the WAR. anyways, stay tune for more and when the film is out, please support the film as this is just the prequel.................. to be continue

That is why test shoot is important cause we need to get the emotion correct

Kit Kat Break - a funny moment when the scene seems too wrong.. lol

Garry got the right target - natural chest padding, pure muscle
